Madfish @ Denmark
This is Madfish Bay, one of the beautiful beaches at Denmark in the south west of Australia. I particularly wanted to visit this bay as one of my favourite wines is named after it.
Madfish Wines are wines made for drinking now and are produced by Howard Park winery.
Madfish Bay is so named because two ocean currents meet in the sheltered cove and with waves coming from either side and it looks like a school of crazy fish.
Thanks for the explanation behind the name "Mad Fish," which I agree are great wines (and good value). Lovely photo ... Wish I was there!

Tania - Denmark is a beautiful area of rolling green farmland and vineyards with fantastic little bays.

Yes, Madfish is wonderful. Red or White. I still remember when I first discovered it at the redeveloped Ritzy Cinema bistro in Brixton back in 1995. It's stuck with me ever since. Sdaqly I don't remember the film.
PS: You've reminded me how useful napkin rings are as J and I are alays mixing ours up.
